Major age give away – stiff neck. You may not know what I am talking about, but you recognize it when you see it as “looking old”. I am talking about when an older person turns to look over their shoulder, or behind them, they don’t turn their neck – but their entire upper torso to see behind them.
This is because as we age, our bodies get stiffer – unless we consciously and purposefully work on keeping them flexible and supple. Necks are the worst!
To avoid this age betrayer – stretch. Find a good full-body stretch routine. Yoga is fantastic, and has the additional benefit of calming the mind, spirit and body. I love it.
